Martin Luther King, Jr. made history. Dan Budnik was an eyewitness and chronicler. Many of Budnik’s images were never published in the mainstream media. Others, such as one his portraits of King delivering his “I Have A Dream” speech at the Lincoln memorial, became iconic.

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art is once again featuring its collection of Budnik’s photographs

In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art is once again featuring its collection of Budnik’s photographs from the 1958 Youth March for Integrated Schools, the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, the 1965 March for voting rights from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama.
